Mark Hughes

Mark takes his title very seriously. He knows people think that Chief Happiness Officer sounds frivolous, but it is anything but that. Happiness is often the critical component that differentiates the clients we work with. Companies with attitude, strong culture and focus win the day. The success of companies like Southwest Air and Google are testament to the efficacy of this point of view.
And Google is more than a happy company that Mark likes; it is one of the partners Mark has developed for AgencyWeb. In addition to being Google certified, AgencyWeb is supported by a team at Google that Mark has been working with over the last few years.

Before starting AgencyWeb Mark also served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sony and has started and run numerous companies over the span of his career.
Now at AgencyWeb Mark focuses on paid adword campaign development and is responsible for the strategy and development of online marketing for our clients. Mark’s abilities with some of the most sophisticate analytics tools in the industry including Omniture puts his results way ahead of the pack. You’ll be glad Mark is on your side, and you can’t help ending up a friend.

Tom Carroll

Mark lured Tom out of early retirement in Maine with a simple statement. I can tell what advertising works, I know exactly what converts and I can prove it. This was like having someone tell Tom, Oh by the way I found the Holy Grail. He was on the next plane, literally, and arrived in South Florida early in 2008 to help pull together and launch this Advertising Agency.
Tom is passionate about marketing that gets results you can measure. From his early days as an AE on the US Army account up through his days at Saatchi and Saatchi where he was responsible for everything results focused including the National Yellow Pages division the Computer Marketing Group and Direct Response.
My nicer clients would say -- "Tom, I know half of my advertising doesn't work, and If I knew which half it was I'd cancel it." Finally, I can show you what's working and what's not, really.
Tom wants to bring the long awaited promise of results based marketing to a few clients now, and than as many small businesses as we can. As he has been known to say—This baby will scale.
Tom likes anything that floats – it can have a sail, or a motor, or paddles—really anything, so when Mark showed him the future offices, and they were right on the Intracoastal in Pompano Beach, well that really sealed the deal for Tom. Josh Hughes
Founder | Director of Web Design
Josh plays a key role in growing the network of clients and associates for AgencyWeb. He knows that it is the people that make business work. From an early age Josh was around family businesses and got the entrepreneurial spirit. Some succeeded while others failed, this allowed him to learn something new from each experience. Growing up Josh knew that he wanted to work for himself. He likes to balance the business side with the creative to achieve something that not only looks good but has real value for both clients and customers.

He attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale for Interactive Media & Web Design. In college Josh found his strength in the field of layout design and usability. He balanced the demands of school with his own free lance company to form a strong work ethic. Josh graduated with a B.S. in 2006 with Best Portfolio & Cum Laude Honors.
Josh is also passionate about the environment. At AgencyWeb he started a recycling program for the entire office building and encourages clients to take steps to become more green. He feels that just a small change in philosophy and habit can start to make a big difference.
